Hi,

So my 2010 2.8 Quad was running smoothly for the first month, but suddenly when trying to boot today, it wouldn't get past the grey screen. Holding down the option key also does not allow me to select startup drives (I have 3 drives in total, one with snow leopard). The keyboard seems non-responsive as well. Since this is only a month old, I can obviously get it serviced by apple, but was wondering if you had any initial suggestions that could allow a "self-fix". Thanks.

Some things I tried:

Resetting PRAM. Nothing
Putting back apple ram. Nothing
Booting in safe mode. Didn't work
Unplugging power adaptor for 15 seconds

Screen is gray, no logo, can't open optical drive to put in install disc. Help?

Alright I'm pretty sure this is due my OWC mercury ssd failing, took it out, and was able to boot from install dvd and install on another drive. Geez, I can't believe the SSD failed within a month, ironic?
