My Mac Pro will not sleep. It doesn't go to sleep on its own, even though it's setup to, and if you tell it to sleep it will go to sleep, but then wake right back up.
I have a 2009 Nehalem Mac Pro 8-core with 8 GB of ram, and a Nvidia GTX 285 in addition to the Nvidia Geforce GT120 it came with. It's on Mountain Lion, although it exhibited the same behavior when it was on Snow Leopard before.
The only thing I've been able to do to get it to stay asleep was to delete the preferences, but then after a day or so it was doing it all over again. Has anyone had this problem? I've looked around, but all I find are different sleep issues.
