I have a mac pro with a graphics card that allows me to go to 1920x1080, however it doesn't go to the edge of the screen. When I use the overscan function in System preferences it goes to the edge of the screen, but then I can not see the top bar. In the displays window in system preferences it says I am using interlaced and would like to use 1080p because my tv has the capability. Is their any way to make my mac pro go to the edge of the screen and still see the top bar, and or make it use 1080p instead of 1080i?

Thanks, Flashuni
