Hi, Im looking to buy a Mac Pro in the near future. What would be the best configuration to get if i want to play games on highest graphics? Any suggestions would help! Thanks

best configuration for games would be to get the NVIDIA 8800GT. the Quadro is a high end graphics card used in workstations for CAD, visualisations & scientific work.

if all you want is to play games, i would suggest just building a pc for a whole lot less money. however, if you're set on a mac pro, then get the quad core conifguration with the 8800 gt video card.

None of them do, if you want Crysis on high your looking at 2 x 9800GX2's. The Pro comes with an 8800GT which is good, however if this is purely for games, the mac pro is not for you.

Its not purely for games more of just free time gaming. I am a heavy mac os x user and am set on the mac pro. I hate PC's!

don't waste your time with just a quad. you will only be updating your mac every other year. go with the octo 2.8 ghz. don't go any higher becuase it isn't worth it. and go with the 8800 becuase they do better with games than the ati 2600.
