If not, I don't know what PVR stands for, but Photo Booth or Text Edit might be your only option.
Unless you mean Pulmonary Vascular Resistance, then you may go into that Indian cinema chain to plant variety rights.

A Personal Video Recorder is quite different from a DVR. What exactly are you trying to record?

I know, I know, I shouldn't elaborate on this and keep it as short as you do, but my grammar fairy has misspelled her ankle, thus my avoidance of www.elgato.com, as this is only meant for PVRs. Though I have used some kind of fancy tool, a search engine of some sorts, and found, that PVRs can sometimes be called DVRs.

A digital video recorder (DVR) and personal video recorder (PVR) is a consumer electronics device or application software that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card or other mass storage device (local or networked). The term includes set-top boxes with recording facility, portable media players (PMP) with recording facility, recorders (PMR as camcorders that record onto memory cards) and software for personal computers which enables video capture and playback to and from disk. I don't kid me or you, that's why I used the double negative.
Soon there will be a follow up on how to properly use negatives and such.

Example:

Question: Aren't you nice?

Answer 1: Yes.

Meaning: I'm not nice.


Answer 2: No.

Meaning: I'm nice.

Though I might go to Nice and see what mice have to do with Napoli's fall into the sea.
