Here's the situation :-

Slightly confused, Apple told my today my Mac was still covered under the 1 year limited warranty with 120 days left for tech support, I gathered 90 days but anyway.

I spoke to 3 seperate people on live chat yesterday, and 2 of them told me i was not covered, 1 of them did, and when i looked up my support covert from "About this mac" i was told phone support had expired.

When i rang up Apple to inquire why a follow up case says my product had expired, yet a new support case was accepted, they began telling me because i purchased my Mac in a different country, and apple.com has no way to check coverage from another country and that's why i see in-accurate results.. Follow up support cases same, thing, but not new cases where i go directly to www.apple.com.au.

I find it odd, that there is physically no linkage between the two..

Makes it tough to easily look up your support coverage from your Mac.....

When I asked the question "how come support coverage at Apple tells u its correct only when you register Apple care" they didn't have an answer.
