It has been an awful long time since I read this forum but I've been a member of the Mac Rumors IRC channel for a pretty long time. I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else wanted to join.

Don't bother using the download. You are much better off using a dedicated Mac OS X (or iOS) IRC client like Colloquay and connecting to the IRC channel manually.
Anyway drop in and say. Would be good to see some new people in the Mac Rumors IRC channel.
