Hello, just wanted to know if its just me or you guys too, on mavericks my fan would be at 2,000 rpm but with mavericks is 500-600 rpms more on idle is this normal? thanks :) mid 2010 macbook pro

Yes I have the same exact MacBook pro as you. (2010 version). And with Mavericks it would run about 115 to 125 degrees ferinheight idling. Now with Yosemite it's about 140 to 160 when idling! To me that's a big difference. If you find something out on how to fix this please share! Also another thing I noticed, Yosemite is killing my battery.
