I am running BOINC as my screensaver and for afew of the projects they have the nifty feature of On-The-Fly altering of the screensaver. Of course, this means one would have to use the keyboard without the mac waking up from the screensaver. On windows, I think this was done with the CTRL key however I haven't been able to figure out how to do it on my new Mac.

Is there a preference for enabling/disabling keys to use to wake the Mac up with from screensaver?

Also when my computer goes to sleep the only way I've been able to wake it up is by repeatedly pressing the RET key. Shouldn't it also wake up if I move the mouse or press any key ONCE?

Thanks for your help

Cheers,
