Nothing new there. Windows has more technical vulnerabilities, but people automatically think that translates into worse security for Windows machines/better security for Macs when the reality is that technical attacks at the system level are increasingly rare.

Windows users and Mac users are equally at risk for social engineering attacks.

edit: It's also nice to re-affirm that if you know what you're doing, any system is pretty safe.
 
I wonder if Windows will ever adopt an app repository like Linux has been using for years. I know Apple has gone this route with their iTunes store experience for iPhone/iPod/iPad users. Seems logical they'll do this with OS X as well. OS 11 repositories? Certainly makes computing a little more secure.
