Hi there,

I basically said it in the subject. What I mean is .mac should be a service that any ISP can provide to the apple community. That would really open those services up and provide real competition. In fact anybody with an online server should be able to point their OSX machine to it and do all the stuff that .mac enables such as iSync and so on. Want cheaper and more robust services? Let in the competition.

.mac is a great idea but there's no reason it has to be tied to Apple. It should be a service that any ISP could offer and it would be up to the customer to decide who.

Cheers Daniel
