Hi,
I finally received my Mac Mini!!
It is absolutely fantastic!!
...there is a minor fly in the ointment though. It seems to like to skip key presses, and not every key, either.
Its favorites are one letter key and the caps lock key. Caps lock - most times I must press it twice to get caps lock.
The letter key is intermittent, but so far I have narrowed it down to one specific instance when entering my password to log in, and it is the first time I enter that key. Nothing pops-up on the screen, and so I don't think it is some weird hidden auto-correct bug.
As I type this message, it appears to be working as expected. Caps lock seems to work as expected, too (using Safari on Sequoia 15.2).
Is this a known issue, and does anyone know what is causing it? Seems this has been an issue going back to the M1 Macs, but in my specific case, it doesn't appear when I'm using something like Safari or a word processor or text editor.
The keyboard in question is a hardwired Kinesis TKO. It works great on Windows and never skipped a beat, and didn't skip a beat typing this, either.
