Hi!

I am moving around a large number of files - for example FCP Projects or Lightroom Libraries.

Despite having turned off all the energy saving functions and the Mac being connected to power (2018 MBP) it still seems to go to sleep mid transfer?

Any reasons why?

Surely the transfer process in itself should prevent the mac fron sleeping?

Help appreciated.

Thank you!

I haven't experienced this, but a quick Google search shows that you shouldn't be having this issue. According to this thread, Mac shouldn't sleep when doing a file transfer, regardless of energy settings. Maybe contact Apple Support?
