Hi ,

I have setup Snow Leopard on Vmware workstation 8.0.2, on AMD Phenom 1.8 Quad Processor with 4gig ram. I have changed the default suggested ram(1 gig) to 2 gig, but still when I check in Snow Leopard I see 1 gig ram installed.

I am wondering if anyone can help with this issue.

Hmm start up VMware and change it again, then restart. Try making sure you have enough free RAM to dedicate to it, it might be that you only have 1.5GB left and so it's not working...

antimass:
Shutdown the VM, change the RAM size, restart the VM. Easy.

Leopard runs fine with 384 MB, Snow Leopard runs fine with 512 MB. Only the first installation requires more memory (1-2 GB).
