Resolved Mac stopped detecting iPhone in Finder

iPhone 14. MBAir. Sequoia.

Plugging in the phone does not show in Finder so can’t backup, etc. if I open photos or music, it sees it. Just not Finder.

The iPhone asks to trust and the Mac asks to allow accessories.

I plug in my iPad and it does show it.

I plug the phone into my Mac Mini and it works.

Any suggestions to reset what is broken in OSX on the MBAir?

and you still don't see your iPhone, you may have collapsed "Locations" in the sidebar. Put your mouse pointer on "Locations" and move slowly to the right until you see ">". Press it to expand items under "Locations'.

Resolved. Here is the fix.

Deleted the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist

Now it works!
