Hey Team,

So i am looking for a new monitor to go with my mac studio in australia, the stores i use are as follows

Now the problem i am facing is id like to go use my display port to thunderbolt cable i just purchased and have VRS/Adaptive refresh rate enabled on my mac because that's an awesome feature.

But from reading a few reddit posts and forums, it seems you must have display port 1.2a , specifically the A enabled to be able to use the feature, this is really difficult to shop for

almost 99% of the monitors in the specifications even on the retailer websites simply say "display port 1.2" or display port 1.2 with HDCP 1.4 whatever that means, i only found one monitor on kogan with display port 1.4 and it was 400+ bucks

I am looking at "reasonably" priced ranges, from 170-300, im not a resolution person so i dont care much about 1440p or 4k, im happy with 1080P

Mostly i just want a good freesync monitor either widescreen or 32 inches with display port 1.2a so the adaptive refresh rate works

Help appreciated, or if anyone can confirm if the specs listed as 1.2 works with Monterery without the "A"

specifically im after this https://au.aoc.com/product/Q32V3S-WS

But the ports say display port 1.2 with HDCP 1.4, so i cant be sure it will work with adaptive refresh
