Hi all,
I'm connecting my mac studio 2022 via hdmi through a KVM to my LG 49WL95C-W ultrawide monitor, which has a native resolution of 5120x1440 @ 60Hz. I've managed to force my windows box to push 5120x1440 to it, but I can't find a way to force my mac to. It only wants to push 3840 x 1080 max. 5120x1440 is still under the "4K" pixel count of a 3840 x 2160 display, so I suspect it should work... but might just be that the KVM isn't offering that resolution up as an option to the mac. Any way of trying to force that resolution?
Many thanks,
Allie

Hold the option key and click the "Scaled" radio button, then select "Show all resolutions"?
The latest macOS might not have the "Scaled" radio button.
There might be a "Show resolutions as list" option in the "Advanced..." settings.

Try SwitchResX or BetterDisplay?

None of these work with new macOS. Anyone know if this mac studio should support 5120x1440 out of the hdmi port?
