Hey everyone. Ever since upgrading to macOS Tahoe, my M4 Max Mac Studio WiFi keeps dropping out randomly, intermittently. It doesn't stay disconnected for long, it reconnects quickly, but it keeps happening. It's disrupting the feed to my brokerage trading software, not good, lol. I did some troubleshooting with ChatGPT where it had me rebuild the network stack by deleting some network files at Library/Preferences/System Configuration. When I rebooted and reconnected to my network, the issue was not resolved. I didn't have this problem when I was running MacOS Sequoia on the same Mac Studio. I also have an M1 Max MacBook Pro that's upgraded to macOS Tahoe and it's not experiencing this issue. Anyone else with an M4 Mac Studio having this problem?

I'm also on Tahoe with the M4 Studio and have no issues with Wifi.
Thanks for the reply. Glad you are not having this same problem.

Today I read that iOS 26 users on the new iPhones are having WiFi dropout issues too. Although its iOS and not macOS, I wonder if its somehow related.

My 17PM is terrible on Wifi and I am not sure why. It's very laggy and slow. Speed tests come back good but when browsing web pages, facebook etc its very slow and I have to turn it off and use Mobile Data. My 16PM was on the beta FW and worked well.

My 17PM randomly disconnects/reconnects to Wi-Fi even though I have excellent coverage throughout my house. My 13PM never had that issue and was always stable, used in the exact same locations. I even tried turning off WiFi Assist etc. but that hasn't helped either. Something is wrong with either the 17PM or iOS 26 or both. It's super frustrating. I read on Reddit that someone looked at logs and found that the new WiFi chip might be crashing, but not sure.

This reply won't solve your wifi problems, but...
... for something that critical, wouldn't it be preferable to use a WIRED ethernet connection to your network???

Thankfully, I didn't have any wifi dropouts today.

It would definitely be better if I had a wired connection to my Mac Studio. I am wired at the office away from home, but at my home office the wireless gateway is on the other side of the house. I rarely if ever have WiFi issues at home, this is the first time in several years. That being said, I'm gonna see about somehow fishing a cable from the router to my Mac. By the way, if ever get into a serious pinch, I can always use one of my MBPs.

I just wanted pop in and report that the issue came around a few times today. For both incidents it was a quick network disconnect/interruption, only lasting roughly 3-5 seconds before reconnection.
