Hey there,

Anyone know if it's possible to buy an official UK Mac Studio power cable anywhere?

Can't see one for sale on the Apple site - anyone got a link?

I have a Japanese-sold Mac Studio and need to power it in the UK. I could get a cheap cable off Amazon etc, but it's an expensive machine, so if I could I'd rather use the correct and rated cable etc.

It does seem hard to find, but it’s a standard C5 male connector so any quality one should suffice.

Yes, I picked one up on Amazon. So I'm technically sorted. Just a shame not to be able to source a nice braided cable from Apple etc. But not a big deal.

You can order the official textile cable via Apple, my very nice service did that for me. Pretty Apple-y pricing: the plug cost about 75€.

I put my Studio inside a network cabinet, the Apple one is actually too long, and we just use one of our generic cables lying around. I am positive it costs less than 2 dollars lol.

The Studio PSU is only rated at 370W, for 220V socket you only need 2A fuse inside the plug, and most such cables come with 3A. Even cheap ones.
