Hi, I just ripped a commercial music DVD that is region 3. At the moment, I set my drive to R3 to do this. Anyway, I clicked on the video TS folder and NO PLAY.... ? Is the encryption too good or did do something wrong?

25 usd for ripit... but will rip the Japanese concert DVD by sony music??? Or will waste 25 USD!? Kind of a gamble...

DVD Encryption is no use. I guess you do something wrong.
I never ripped a DVD on my Mac in OSX.
If you have Windows installed just do it there. There are plenty of freeware tools that get the job done.

Try opening it with the DVD player app.

Make sure your optical drive is empty. File > Open DVD media > Choose TS Folder (just the enclosing folder is enough)
