When I try to burn a dvd I get the codes "Sense Key + Medium Error" and "Sense Code = 0 x 73, 0 x 03". Can't find these in Mac help. Any clues?

MacTheRipper is not a DVD burner.

So can you give us more details what you do with what software? And what did you do before to get there maybe?
Also what Mac do you have and what Mac OS X version?

Are you trying to rip a DVD via MTR or are you trying to burn a ripped DVD to another DVD?

Where does the error message appear?

Can you make a screenshot of it and attach it to your next post?

How to backup/copy/rip video DVDs to your HDD and transcode them to another format.

Taking screenshots in Mac OS X.

Sorry ... it's a problem with Popcorn when I try to burn a DVD. It even happened when I tried to make a data DVD with Taost 6 Titanium.

Are you able to provide more information?

What specific Mac do you have with what Mac OS X version on it?
Have you taken a look at System Profiler and checked your SuperDrive?
Can you explain the steps you have taken to get that message? As much details as you can provide please.

I have a Powerbook G4 with OSX. Not sure of the version.
I had a look at the system profiler but I'm not sure what to do there.

The message comes up when the burn starts to initialise. the program then says that the DVD was not written & the disc ejects.
