Mac The Ripper wont respond

When I try to extract a dvd, I try to open mac the ripper and it bounces two or three times and just stops, and nothing happens from there. It wont open or anything. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it and that didnt work either. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do? What other extraction software is out there?

What version are you running? There is a universal binary beta.

The same thing happens to me. I think it should work if you restart your computer. It worked for me.
