Mac Tiger without DVD

Hello

I recently moved and i bought mac os x tiger at the apple store on DVD and then i quickly moved it to my mac (eMac before i moved..) i put the whole cd in a .dmg file...some of my stuff got lost including my tiger dvd(and i wont have acess to it for like 3 weeks) so i just have a copy of the dvd in .dmg format. I have a cd-dvd drive on a eMac with 10.2. Is there a way to install it with an ipod? i have a 80gb ipod...i was trying to open the dmg file and drag it to my ipod but it kept giving me errors...is there a way? how whould i do this? i really need tiger for my project.. to install some apps......thanks ahead of time

There's some info in the first post about restoring your disk image to a HD partition, either on your eMac or perhaps even your iPod.

ok

So i used the copycloner thing and it keeps getting stuck like 1/2 done....im so desperate..how else can i do this
