Hi to everyone. I am not sure if this is the correct section for asking this but I did found some topics related to Time Capsule in here.

My Time Capsule is full (bought it in 2011) and I was looking to purchase a new one to replace the existing one and start fresh with new backups from scratch. However, are they really discontinued? And if yes what are the alternatives from Apple?

You are better off just spending the money on other routers/backup solutions. I went to the NetGear NightHawk series with an SSD backup drive. It runs circles around what the Time Capsule could do.

Yes, the Time Capsule, and all of Apple's wifi products, are discontinued.
