hi all,

Is it possible for my Mac to automatically download Adobe Reader files from an online source and then move those files into a folder of my choice?

Asking because I'd like my Mac to download my electronic bank statements and put them in a folder that I select so that I can view them later, offline, when I need to.

thanks all! Appreciate your help in advance!

To answer the general question: Yes, it is possible (and easy) to write a script that fetches files from the Internet and stores them in a given location on your computer.
To answer the specific question: Does logging in to your bank account require you to do something that doesn't involve interacting with your computer? If not, then it may be technically feasible, but not necessarily a good idea, since it would likely mean storing some kind of logon credentials in plaintext on your computer.
A very straightforward way to try it, if you absolutely want to, would be to use Automator and create a workflow.
