Hi,

I had a Macbook Pro 2009 13" (Core2Duo) which i am using for about 2 years,I now brought Macbook Pro 2011 13" (I5).

I want to transfer settings,Content (IPhoto) from my old Mac to new Mac using Hard disk....

I already had external hard disk ,Videos i saw in you tube talk content transfer using 6 pin cable.

I am looking for an option to transfer using Hard disk particularly IPHOTO and pics in them

Thanks

You can migrate from one mac to the other over an ethernet cable. I did it recently it's very quick

Or just connect the two machines in the same way and just move files manually.
