Hi all,

I got an ethernet router with iBooks A, B and my G5 on it. They all see each other, but the G5 can only connect to iBook A and vice versa. When I click on the icon for iBook B, from within the Finder's Network window, I get this:

"Connection Failed! The file server is running on your machine. Please access the files locally."

I get the same message when trying to connect from iBook B. Any idea what I should try doing?

Thanks in advance...

wow. i really wish i knew. i would also like to know about this (i have had similar difficulties in the past)

I put in a second vote to find out the answers!
