Hi,

So far, I've been using Teamviewer to remote control a Mac Mini from a Macbook. Quite happy with it, apart from one small thing:
Unfortunately, every time I reconnect the Macbook to the web (travel/hotel,...) I have to re-enter a new password to re-establish the link between the two machines.

Is there a way to permanently allow a remote control connection between two Macs once they "know" each other? For example by using the unique hardware identifier?

Any alternatives to Teamviewer that can do that?

Yes, in TeamViewer you can set a permanent password on the remote computer. On that computer, go to TeamViewer > Preferences > Security to set the password.
