Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough but this forum looked like the closest thing to suit my needs. I am trying to I.M. with my five yr old who can't type and would like to see me as i'm on the road for work sometimes as long as 4 months at a stretch with no visits home. I cannot get any of the Mac versions of the most popular I.M.s to allow me the use of my logitech orbit webcam with sound. It has been very frustrating to me for obvious reasons. I have asked more people for help with this than I care to count and no one knows how I can do this simply enough that my ex-wife will participate. Anything difficult and she will get frustrated and give up. I operate a powerbook g4. Some have said I should set up a VPN but they have told me that it is difficult and so I haven't even tried to go that route. Is there a messenger I can use that will support this function or is Mac still not popular enough to inspire a need for this.
