So in Windows you can do tuneups by cleaning the C:/ and stuff. For some reason my Macbook all of the sudden wants to take 3 minutes to shut down, instead of the normally 15 seconds. Is there anyway I can clean up my computer to get this back? Thanks

Utilities>Disk Utility>Repair Disk Permissions

If you've never done it before, run it a few times over. Do this fairly regularly and it should keep your macs speed at a good level.

+1 for Onyx too, for more advanced clearing out.
