I have the late 2012 27" iMac running Mavericks.

Of late it has really gotten sluggish and acting up (unresponsive, not rebooting, etc).

I was wondering if anyone knows of some type of legit tuneup app or system checkup app. I really don't want to wipe my system and start over, but I feel that it's getting close to that.

Thanks all,
David.

There's a free, compact utility app out there named "Yasu":
http://yasuapp.net

You just:
- launch it
- set the tasks you want it to run
- run it (password required)
- it can be set to shut down or restart automatically.
