Since El Capitan, my 2013 MacBook Air will sometimes be unresponsive for 15-20 seconds after I open it. I see the login screen but can't move the mouse cursor or type my password for quite a while until it becomes responsive again. This happens mostly when the Mac hasn't been used for a few days. This never happened before the El Capitan update. Any way to solve this?

I don't have an answer but I can say my SSD equipped Mini starts up considerably slower than it did under 10.95 and has to "think" for 5 or 6 seconds once the desktop appears. My other Mini has a mechanical drive and "thinks" for about 15 seconds before it responds to clicks. I still restart under Mavericks for certain apps and it basically rips compared to 10.11.1.
