The title is indeed misleading. The "platform" is a Linux/MacOS/Windows front end app...
For its part, Microsoft claims not to be threatened by IBM ...

Of course they're not. It runs under Windows for f**k's sake. In search of a story, CNET again make themselves look like asses.
