MAC Virgin needs help!

I was wondering if someone could help me....

In Sex & the City when Carrie's laptop breaks down, her boyfriend replaces it with a sweet MAC that has a little handle like a handbag.

Any idea what model this is?

Its Mac not MAC. Sounds like a origonal iBook. The "clamshell" ibooks had a handle i do belive (never owned or touched one). They don't make these anymore and for some reason they go for insanely high prices on ebay.

yeah, that'd be the old iBooks. you'd want a new iBook though. much nicer. i think you can also get add-ons that let you have a handle with the new iBooks or PowerBooks in case you really want that.

I used to have one of those and absolutely loved it. It was my first modern Mac (well modern at the time).
