Mac vs PC: iOS Update/Restore

In process of restoring iP4 to after updating to iOS 5. Watching the little processing bar chase after itself, wondering how far it's made it... how far to go? Co-worker said it had taken 2 hours last night all in all.

I'm running latest iTunes on PC. Just curious if what the Mac experience is like. Mine is pretty sucky.
