Hello
I've recently bought a Mac and been a Windows user before. And I'd like to figure out which is better. I'd like to think that Mac is better but I'm not sure.. ;(

Now, let's look at what's good and what's bad in each os.

Mac:
1) No viruses and better security.
2) Cheaper (Leopard is cheaper than Vista)
3) More stable (can be running for years)

Windows:
1) More applications have been made.
2) Runs both, on PC's and Macs.

That makes it 3 for Macs and 2 for Windows. Do you guys know any more? And please don't be afraid to add good things to Windows because I really need this.

You can also use many windows applications on a Mac by using crossover to do so. You can also use dacWINE the Mac version of WINE, but it has little support because it is a community project +1 for mac running windows applications

Windows:
1) More applications have been made.
2) Runs both, on PC's and Macs.

2) Since you can run Windows on a Mac but can't run OSX on a PC that is an advantage for Macs not PCs. And since you can run Windows, OSX, UNIX and most Linux programs on a Mac but you can't run OSX programs on a PC, advantage Number 1 is not true either (unless by "more applications" you mean games).

Use whatever suits your needs.

hmm.. that's a good point. But that is bad for OS X that it can't be installed on PC..
