I was running Yosemite DP4, and randomly yesterday, after my retina MBP was asleep for 10-ish minutes, the display refused to turn back on. The computer WAS on — audio could come from it, and I was able to view the display via an external monitor, but the internal laptop monitor was not recognized.

30 minutes later, it comes back on randomly, but with light leaks in the area of the dock.

Wait another hour, and it's back to normal when I take it to the Apple Store, who can't reproduce the issue.

Get home, it happens again.

I call AppleCare, who says if I send it in, they're going to revert me to Mavericks anyways, so I might as well try this. Up to this point I'm convinced this is a hardware issue unrelated to the beta OS.

Since I've reinstalled Mavericks, I've had no display issues at all, so a part of me thinks this may be a graphics card issue, or maybe a corrupt install of Yosemite.

Thoughts? Has anyone else experienced something similar?
