Hi Folks,

I`m new to mac and having a few problems, firstly it wouldn`t recognise my speed touch connection, it loaded the drivers and the symbol appered on the desktop but it won`t connect, it says server not recognised or not valid.

Then the guy I bought it off gave me a dsik to upgrade to 10.5, he had said it was originally on the mac before I bought it then he said it wasn`t on as he didn`t have time ti install it, anyway, I put the disk in and it stuck saying it had 1 hr 25 mins left and sat like that for ages, so I cancelled the install and said delete, now the mac will not boot up.....it just sits there doing nothing like its forgotten what it is or what its meant to do.....am I bolloxed or can anyone help me to fix this.....please.
Thanks Reeba

It looks like you are going to need to reinstall Leopard.
Have you any data on the hard drive not backed up?

To start the install process, put the leopard disk in the computer and reboot.

What part of NI are you?
