Hi,

I have a B&W G3, 350MHz 256MB RAM, 6GB HDD everything single thing stock.

Has a fresh install of 10.2, installation finished but on restart grey apple logo appeared but before progress wheel comes up screen just pixilates and stays there.

I have the latest firmware 1.1fa, reset the pram, reset the pmu.

I have tried many different sticks of RAM, all of which work perfectly in a G4 Sawtooth.

Any advice?

Cheers guys.

I think this may be due to a mainboard replacement battery. I pulled out the new battery I bought for the blue and white and put it in the G4 I use and the same problem occured as on the G3.

It is a standard 3.6 lithium battery I bought for it, how long do I need to wait to put the G4 battery in the G3 to test it? I heard someone say that you have to wait a while so there is no charge left from the other battery?

Cheers.
