I have 3 programs that can burn a dvd that will play in a dvd player.
IDVD , DVD studio pro , toast titanium pro.

all 3 have issues.
IDVD will not burn a playable dvd it burns and when you open the dvd it shows a video and audio TS file.

DVD studio Pro will shut down when i try to import a video file.

Toast Titanium will only burn to a video and audio ts file.

if i burn the video from finder it will allow me to click on it and it will play the movie i have burned and is not in a video and audio TS file.

trying to slow down the burn speed , not verifying the disk, have not helped.

any solutions??

thanks

Mac 101: DVD Player

The VIDEO_TS structure is the native DVD format for DVD players. You'll need to use DVD Player or another video player app that supports DVD file structures if you want to play these kinds of DVDs on your Mac.

Older dvd-players will only read DVD-R discs; to exclude the disc as causing the problem I'd try with iDVD and a Verbatim brand DVD-R and not at maximum burn speed.
