So last year i purchased a new mac book, with my laptop I received a Canon iP4500 printer. I have had no need for it until now. I start the software installation, when its complete it asks to align the printer heads, this is where the problem arises. My printer is on, but since the printer doesn't connect via USB. The printer setup program searches via bluetooth, but every time the printer never shows up. Am I doing something wrong with the computer or the printer, I need help. Write back soon!

Thanks

Can you explain what you mean by "it doesn't connect by USB."
As far as I know, that's the only way to connect it. It doesn't have Bluetooth built-in.

The printer never came with a USB cable. And from the instructions, it seems like that is the way it was intended.
