I turned on my Mac, and it gets stuck at the apple logo with the spinning wheel. I reset the PRAM and NVRAM. I ran "/sbin/fsck -fy" and it just gives me errors. "Incorrect block count for SystemEntropyCache should be 1 instead of 0 Unable to fix Macintosh HD the file system was modified". I don't know what to do. Help!!

Try booting off the DVD that came with the system, run Disk Utility from there and see if it can fix the problem.

I did, and it says that the disk cannot be repaired. I am out of warranty, so does that mean I have to buy a new one? I don't want to!
