Mac Word 2009 - HELP !!

Hi

Mac Word is locking up and I then have to launch another application just to reach 'Force Quit'. Word triggers the little coloured spinning ball and it won't break out of the cycle.

Has anyone else encountered this and have you been able to resolve the problem.

Any advice appreciated . . . Thanks in advance . . . .Stuart

Sorry, been away from the Mac - the issue is in MS Word 2008 for Mac.

I hoped to lose Microsoft problems, by buying a Mac but of course, I forgot to buy everyone else a Mac to make us compatible !

You say "Launch Another Programme to 'Force Quit'" I would advise it to be Activity Monitor... but the best thing to do... is to uninstall and reinstall... Office is a funny application that just doesn't work sometimes..
