Well, it sounds good, except the part where they want your payment info up front, even if you don't use the calling to a real phone feature. If they had a free version that worked for mac to mac only, then I would be all over it!
You don't acutually have to give your payment details unless you want to dial real phone numbers. You just fill in the download form and away you go.
below the haxial netphone site, it states it costs 20 bucks...

Mac2Phone is FREE to other Mac and PC users using Mac2Phone or PC2Phone. I've been using it today and Mac2Phone seems like the best app to me.
It has a more Mac like GUI and is easier to set-up and configure.

You can change the appearance of NetFone with custom appearance (.hap) files. There's an OS X .hap floating around the net that looks pretty good.
But I'll try Mac2Phone too and see which I like better. Options are always good!

mac2phone is not new, I've been using it for around 6 months now, its just a new version.
I use Netphone for Mac to Mac or Mac to PC calls, and Mac2Phone for Mac to real telephone numbers.
Its pretty solid and stable, just have had to restart it a few times. It is very cheap for long distance calls and it sounds just like a regular telephone call.
