MacAir13 compatibility with Viewsonic

Does anyone know if a MACAIR13 is compatible with a Viewsonic VX2450WM monitor? It does not seem to be as it has a disc for instructions and hook ups that don't seem to have any place. If not what would be?

Do you know if the viewsonic monitor is VGA, DVI or HDMI?

Yes, your monitor takes VGA and DVI-D. You'll need to buy an adapter but it will work. ie. Thunderbolt to DVI
