Macally BookShell2 Pro - moddable?

Hey all...

I have a Macally BookShell2 Pro for my unibody MacBook Pro. My only gripe with it (asides from heat) is that I can't see the glowing apple. Do you think that it's possible to mod the case so taht we have a cutout there?
