So after waiting forever on my Speck PixelSkin HD in Cobalt blue, I cancelled the order after backorder after backorder and picked up a MacAlly Bookstand 2, blue on the outside and orange on the inside.

Here is my mini review.

PROS:

No smell.

It looks very nice. It's not real leather, but a faux rubberized material that looks very nice and feels grippy and awesome.

The inside is a soft felt material.

The magnets turn it on and off and you can fold the top back with out turning it off.
Doesn't add much bulk or weight.

The back is simple. Logo is very subdued and embossed.

Hard plastic edged rim protect the case from bumps.

Closes flat.

Open bezel, easy access to ports and buttons.

Fit and finish is excellent.

Inexpensive. Not cheap, cheap implies poor quality, this is great quality IMO.

Typing position works well enough.

I chose blue, but you can get it in a variety of colors.

CONS:

Not a fan of the, albeit practical, mickey mouse ears.

open ends don't offer much protection.

Stand up position works OK but too much table shaking will make it slip and fall back. If I use a girl's plastic hair clip or a paper binder clip, it is pretty solid. Not a deal breaker but could be an annoyance. I think if they segmented it differently it could have been better. Oh well.

I'll try and get some pictures up later.
