Macally DualStand 2 Case for iPad 2 - Arrived!

Bought this on eBay just now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280643171015 it should be here by the end of this week, looks like a perfect stand case and will be great on airplane trips!! Anyone else order one yet?

Kindof an ugly color, but oh well, not a whole lot of good cases out right now.

Does this case have a protector for the screen too? Or, does it just protect the back?

If it does have something for screen, is it a covering like the otterbox defender for iphone4 (a thin plasticky film that is part of the snap on case)?

To my knowledge, it doesn't come with a screen protector. I plan on getting an SGP Steinheil one once they come out.

Love the case but Macally made a catastrophic decision w/ that color. It appeals to <almost> no one and it's the only color it comes in. There will be other companies w/ similar cases in usable colors. Macally's loss. I did, however, order their bookstand2b case on Amazon. Hope it ships soon. I'm getting antsy for a back cover.

The feel is very good, the color is distracting a little bit too. My only real issue so far is that the stands practically are so tight that you need a screwdriver to pry them free!

How flexible is the lip?

How flexible is the yellow lip on the sides? I picked up a cheap TPU case to hold me over, but it barely covered the top edge, and is pulling my shield off. This is because it's so close the edge, but also because it pulls away every time I grab the iPad.

So, is the yellow part rubbery, or more like plastic? I assume you have to bend it to squeeze the iPad inside, no?

Almost perfect

The Macally Dualstands2 is almost exactly what I'm looking for. I want a minimal back case with typing/viewing kickstand. But I can't get past the glossiness of the Dualstand2 and the yellow is so bad it's a dealbreaker. Could someone whose purchased it commment on whether or not it could possibly be painted?

Also, has anyone ordered one of these knock offs who could comment on the quality of them?

These honestly all look pretty decent and they are cheap enough that I think it would be worth it to buy the one you like. The clear plastic one looks like something I'd get.
