I picked up a MacAlly iLaser to go with my iMac as there are very few white mice on the market. It came with the MacAlly Mouse Driver v5.3 on CD-Rom and upon installing the driver I could not get it to recognize the mouse. Even though the basic features of the mouse worked, I could not get the back and forward buttons to function. I updated the driver to v5.4 and everything began working great, but after a few minutes Leopard began acting strange. I couldn't double click any of the icons on my system and any changes that were made (deleting/moving files) would not take place until I restarted my system.

The iLaser is connected directly to my Mac (not through the keyboard) and it appears that MacAlly support is nonexistant, any suggestions (either than shipping it back which I am seriously considering)?
