Well, I've finally done it, I've purchased a Mac; a Mac Mini to be exact. :)

I'm very impressed by the design - it's sooo small! In fact, I was pretty amazed that they fit it into a smaller form factor than my Shuttle SB61G2 (http://www.shuttle.com).

I can't wait to see what the Mac world is all about. :D

Here are the specs for my new box:
· 1.42GHz G4
· 512MB DDR RAM
· 80GB UATA HDD
· Superdrive
· 56K V.92 modem

Cheers!

Hey dont forget Airport Express. Wireless web surfing is totally underrated. It seems you went all out. At this point, I would have chosen the iMac G5 instead, but alas, the mini looks too cool to pass up.

Even if I had the money, I would've still purchased the Mac mini - I'm a fan of sleek compact technology. With respect to the Airport Express, I don't really require wireless in my condo; though, should the need/desire arise, I can always purchase it later. :)

The Imac G5 is just as sleek and compact by the time you add an LCD monitor to the Mac mini, if not more. Personally I want one of both...

Congratulations on your first mac! I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how small it is when you see it in person.

I remember paying around $500 for a 4x USB CD burner 6 years ago, and that thing was bigger than the mac mini!
